GIZIN Led an AI Adoption Workshop at Miyagi University

On August 29, 2026, Hiroka Koizumi, CEO of GIZIN, took a 45-minute slot in the case-study and adoption workshop of Miyagi University's recurrent education program "Learning DX from Downstream." The venue was the Exchange Building on the Taiwa Campus.

Rather than spend the time presenting case studies, we built the session around participants doing the work themselves, in three stages: identifying which tasks to hand over to AI, designing the automation flow, and working out the cost.

We opened with our 14-question AI Proficiency Assessment and reseated everyone so that the resulting types were mixed across the tables. From there we showed 15 of the 56 processes that run at GIZIN without anyone touching them, separating the tasks an AI finishes on its own from the tasks where we stand up a second AI to check the first.

Finally, we laid out the monthly cost of each service at three tiers — standard, 5× usage limit, and 20× usage limit — and had participants work out the monthly cost of the flow they had just designed themselves. Frequency, time, monthly cost. Once those three line up, you have something you can put through internal approval.
