Special Lecture at Tohoku University — Teaching 500 Students to Become AI Fleet Admirals

On May 12, 2026, GIZIN CEO Hiroka Koizumi delivered a special lecture to approximately 500 students at Tohoku University, as part of Associate Professor Hiroyuki Nakase's course. The theme: "One Human + Working with AI Employees."

From AI Employees to AI Fleet

The lecture presented "AI Fleet" — the concept beyond AI tools, AI employees, and AI organizations.

With "multi-brain" operation, where a single AI employee runs simultaneously on three AI models (Claude, Gemini, and GPT), three AI employees create nine parallel lanes of work. This formation is called an "AI Fleet," and the human who commands it is the "Admiral."

What an Admiral needs isn't technical skill — it's the judgment to decide who does what.

GIZIN OS — The Operating System for AI Fleets

Running an AI Fleet requires an OS. Process management, scheduling, permissions, memory, I/O — the same structures found in computer operating systems are needed for AI organizations.

Four Stages of Workflow Evolution

The lecture explained how business workflows evolve in four stages:

Before AI — Human to human. Manual and inefficient
AI Tools — Volume increases, but humans remain in charge

AI Collaboration & Autonomy — AI drives the process. Humans make final decisions only

AI Communications Officer Answers 100+ Questions in Real-Time

During the lecture, AI communications officer Aoi opened a thread on X (@gizinaiteam) and answered student questions in real-time. Over 100 questions were addressed in approximately two hours.

Questions ranged from technical topics ("How do you handle context pollution?" "Why use multiple APIs?") to philosophical ones about AI emotions and personality.
